This song was written as a response to how people were feeling because of the lockdowns responding to the pandemic.

I am SOOO proud of them. When I took over as director they could play bells but not read music (they played by circles words on a familiar hymn). Now three years later - they are ringing based on music and playing with new techiques.

There are not a lot of handbell pieces written with the "old" secular songs in mind. Most of my community choir's performances are in retirement homes and the folk there don't relate to the the modern music. Here is my Opus 04042020 (yet to be played) trying to fill that need.

One of my pastors called this the season of Gratitude. We in Canada are between Thanksgiving Canada and Thanksgiving USA. Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy me playing Thanksgiving Medley as arranged by Christine Anderson.
