From our Christmas musical offering (December 12, 2021), here is my church handbell choir playing Carol of the Bells arranged by Jason W. Krug.

Although the text is set around the parable of the wise and foolish virgins – this tune has become associated with Advent and many of its images are appropriate for this season of waiting and preparing.

On June 12, 2016, they gathered to dance and celebrate. Little did they know, this would be the last dance for 49 of our brothers and our sisters.

My organ teacher would call this arrangement by Jerry Ray – “a little ditty” because it is so short. And like a little bit of candy it is enjoyable.
