Today is the Fourth Sunday of Easter and we turn our attention to Jesus as the Good Shepherd. Today’s music includes piano, bells, organ, and cello. It was arranged in the 1700’s, 1900’s and even during the pandemic. Enjoy a time by the still waters.

There are not a lot of handbell pieces written with the “old” secular songs in mind. Most of my community choir’s performances are in retirement homes and the folk there don’t relate to the the modern music. Here is my Opus 04042020 (yet to be played) trying to fill that need.

This is probably the most played and arranged hymn and it only uses 5 notes. Here I am playing Dale Wood’s arrangement of Amazing Grace.

The difference between a Theatre organ (roller skating, stadium) and a church organ? The Church organ only goes to church and the Theatre organ goes everywhere else. Today the Theatre organ did in fact go to church…… Mark Hayes, Arranger.
